As a Speech Language Pathologist at New Story Schools youll help students develop the communication skills that empower learning connection and confidence. Youll assess speech and language needs design individualized treatment plans and work collaboratively with educators and families to support student growth across all areas of communication and social development.
What Youll Need
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Active ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) and Ohio state licensure
Experience providing therapy to children or students with communication challenges
Strong interpersonal and documentation skills with a focus on family collaboration
Dedication to creating inclusive engaging and student-centered learning environments
What Youll Do
Assess students speech language and communication abilities to identify individual needs
Develop and implement evidence-based therapy plans aligned with IEP goals
Provide direct and consultative services to support communication in academic and social settings
Collaborate with teachers therapists and families to promote consistent student progress
Track progress maintain detailed documentation and participate in IEP meetings as part of the multidisciplinary team
