Job Overview:
Reporting to the VP Commercial and Enterprise Apps and Quality the Solutions Architect will be responsible for providing architectural leadership and direction for the EPC technology domains of the organization. The Solutions architect will partner across all areas of IT including; Enterprise Architecture Application development to deliver high quality solutions that comprehensively address the business and operational requirements defined for them. The Solutions Architect will be the primary subject matter expert in all aspects of Commercial/Marketing applications including Reference Architecture Solutions Design Technology Road Maps Process Optimization and Project Leadership.

Leads the development and on-going maturity of Fortreas Commercial / Marketing technology strategy including but not limited to; SalesForce CRM SaleForce AgentForce Conga copilot agents Responsive Ball Park Estimating Tool Analytics solutions etc...
Supports the development and on-going maturity of Fortreas Commercial Marketing technology strategy including AI adoption
Analyzes and works with project teams to develop optimal solutions to complex projects business requirements.
Delivers approved designs in accordance with Fortrea Architectural governance and the Project Management Tollgate Methodology.
Partners with Enterprise Architecture Infrastructure Leads and technology suppliers in the evaluation piloting acceptance and delivery of new technology for the organization.
Helps promote a consistent vision and strategy throughout the organization.
Builds relationships which foster collaboration and partnerships to drive better strategies priorities and service to the customer.
Responsible for building a productive relationship with Fortreas technology suppliers.
Continually assesses technology solutions and operational efficiency to improve service and lower cost.
Provides technical leadership to peers and junior members within the organization.
Act as a technical coordinator for projects as required.
Provides On-Call Support for Business-Critical escalations.
All other duties as needed or assigned.
Qualifications (Minimum Required):
Bachelors degree in computer science or engineering or equivalent discipline
Experience (Minimum Required):
Minimum of 7-10 years experience engineering building and supporting commercial and/or marketing platforms
2-5 years of experience providing architecture/design services within a global organization.
1-2 year creating solution designs
Experience with 2 or 3 of our technologies - SalesForce CRM SaleForce AgentForce Conga Drupal copilot agents Responsive MS AI workspace Analytics solutions (Microsoft) etc...
Strong Project Leadership including planning coordination tracking and management of issues.
Good communication and presentation skills including the ability to articulate technically complex concepts to non-technical and managerial audiences.
Creative innovative and well-organized individual with a history of consistent follow through.
Proven track record of acting as a strategic partner with IT leadership.
Proven ability to influence and interact effectively with peers and IT leaders.
Innovative team player with strong analytical problem solving and interpersonal skills.
Strong crisis and vendor management.
Preferred Qualifications Include:
Experience in the Life Science and/or CRO industry
SalesForce CRM Agentforce and Conga experience
Background in the Pharmaceutical development services or related industry
Physical Demands/Work Environment:
Occasional travel required
Weekend and evening hours required
