Causal Food Services Assistant

About the Opportunity:

St Vincents Private Hospital Toowoomba is the largest acute private hospital on the Darling Downs. We are a 197-bed facility with highly experienced and skilled staff that work as a team to deliver the highest standard of healthcare to all our patients. Our services include medical surgical maternity paediatric emergency cardiac and rehabilitation. We are supported by comprehensive allied health services and advanced medical and diagnostic services. Pathology radiology and pharmacy are also available on site and our emergency department is open 24 hours seven days a week.

This rewarding opportunity will see you join the St Vincents Private Hospital Toowoomba (SVPHT) as a Food Services Assistant in our amazing Room Service model and be part of a very supportive team.

This role will be a casual position working anywhere from 7- 30 hours per week

Things that work for us:

• Previous experience in the hospitality industry

• Demonstrated experience and knowledge in food preparation hygiene and infection control principles.

• Basic computer literacy using a range of online systems.

• Outstanding hygiene standards and a basic understanding of infection control

• An understanding of safe work procedures and practice including manual handling

• A strong customer service focus

• Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised whilst working towards tight deadlines
