We currently have a GREAT OPPORTUNITY for a BILLING SPECIALIST to join our corporate office team in PELLA IA! This position is a full-time hourly position with a comprehensive benefit package included!
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Posting payments to client accounts
- Reconciling deposits
- Managing client accounts by sending monthly client statements and invoices
- Data entry and maintaining tracking reports for employer-related services
- Point of contact regarding client account questions internally and externally
- Assisting other back-office personnel as needed
- Maintaining referral source tracking reports
- Fill medical records requests in a timely manner
- Working with the Billing Team to maintain accurate client accounts
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 1 year experience in an office environment
- Minimum of 1 year experience in billing accounts receivable and/or medical claims
- Knowledge of insurance claims to determine patient financial responsibility
- Experience with medical coding
- Proficient in reconciliation of data
- Experience in customer service communication
- Experience with EMR software Outlook Excel and Microsoft Office
