The Inpatient Supervisoris a trusted leader who supports our mission by partnering closely with care teams across multiple inpatient units to ensure safe compassionate and high-quality care. This night-shift role offers the opportunity to collaborate think big-picture and make thoughtful decisions that support both patients and staff. This position is responsible for mobilizing staff to ensure safe patient care in all areas. Working 6 pm to 6 am with flexibility to meet department needs this position typically schedules 36 to 40 hours per week and plays a vital role in keeping teams connected and supported overnight.

How Youll Make an Impact
Lead and coordinate each childs care plan working closely with the care team the child and their family to support meaningful outcomes
Make sure clinical care is delivered safely consistently and in line with best practices and ChildServe guidelines
Ensure the right staff are in place by supporting scheduling supervision and ongoing performance feedback
Respond to questions or concerns from families staff and partners with professionalism and care
Build strong relationships and encourage open communication across teams
Serve as on call support for medical group homes when needed
Support staff growth engagement and job satisfaction to promote long term retention
Partner with leadership to identify opportunities to improve care workflows and team effectiveness
What Youll Need
Licensure to practice as an RN in the State of Iowa
Preferred: 5 years of nursing experience in pediatrics rehabilitation and/or with children with complex medical conditions.
Preferred: Specialty nursing certifications (CPN CBIS CRRN)
Active BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs be mobile within the clinic areas and frequently bend lift reach and stand.
Ability to communicate effectively in (or through) reading writing and speaking the English language.
