Description of Work

Central Regional Hospital is currently recruiting for a Housekeeping Supervisor I position. The primary purpose of this position is to supervise 7-12 employees in the daily routine cleaning of patient and staff areas of Central Regional Hospital. These are the housekeeping employees who meet the cleaning needs of the hospital staff and patients on a daily 7 days per week basis. Work also involves the responsibility for the care and maintenance of equipment and for maintaining supply inventories at the prescribed level. Work is performed under the supervision of a Housekeeping Supervisor II.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences

Pay Range: $32639.00 - $57117.00

  • One year of work-related experience performing housekeeping duties
  • Knowledge to set priorities and deadlines and establishing goals for the area and ensure they are followed
  • Give classes on new products and cleaning procedures research testing new products in areas include data sheets and labels
  • Ability to evaluate employees
  • Good communications skills - verbal and written

Conditional Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

This Position Is Designated As Mandatory And Must Report Or Stay Over During Adverse Weather Events.

Working Schedule: 1st Shift 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. with alternating weekends and holidays.
