Housing & Food Services (HFS) has an outstanding opportunity for a Food Service Worker to join their team.
Housing & Food Services supports over 10000 student residents and operates 40 dining locations on campus. With a team of over 1200 staff and students HFS is dedicated to enhancing student life through teamwork and excellent service.
POSITION PURPOSE
Work as a key team member in a dynamic high volume food service environment with other full-time and student employees. Typical work includes providing customer service for guests assembling and serving food items preparing beverages assisting cooks in preparation and production of menu items cashiering and maintaining cleanliness.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
POSITION DIMENSIONS
There are 9-month or 11.5-month cyclic positions available. These positions are located at various UW Dining venues and across various shifts (days evenings weekends). Schedules may be changed with two weeks notice.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Possession of or eligible to obtain a Washington State Food Worker Card within two weeks of employment.
Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements such as a license certification and/or registration.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
A satisfactory outcome from the employment verification and reference check processes.
