Job Summary
ATCOs Australian operations are headquartered in Perth Western Australia and specialise in creating innovative customer focused energy and infrastructure solutions. ATCO owns and operates Western Australias largest gas distribution network with more than 850000 connection points and 15000 km of pipelines.
Were seeking a Procurement Lead Indirect to shape and deliver category strategies across indirect spend areas such as IT HR marketing and professional this role youll lead category management implement procurement frameworks and identify opportunities to drive value and mitigate supply chain risks. Youll act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders influencing decisions and uplifting procurement culture across the business.
What You Will Do:
- Develop and execute category strategies informed by spend analysis market intelligence and business priorities to deliver measurable commercial outcomes.
- Drive value for money and total cost of ownership improvements through innovative sourcing approaches and supplier partnerships.
- Mentor Procurement Specialists by providing guidance and support on sourcing strategies and best practices.
- Manage category-specific risks including modern slavery and SOCI compliance by implementing robust mitigation strategies for supply chain resilience.
- Build trusted relationships with stakeholders influencing decisions shaping procurement direction and constructively challenging where necessary.
- Streamline sourcing processes to reduce cycle times remove bottlenecks and deliver faster more efficient procurement outcomes.
What Were Looking For:
- Degree in business supply chain procurement or equivalent experience.
- Proven expertise in indirect procurement and category management.
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
- Experience driving cultural uplift and process improvements.
- Ability to lead teams and influence senior stakeholders.
