Summary:
This position will coordinate the onboarding process for new clerical employees in the medical practices. The position will oversee the training track status and progress of new employees conduct customer service training and serve as a resource to managers and preceptors. This role will support operations and the employee population in the Connecticut and New York Practices ensuring that all standards are communicated and followed and that all processes are executed to continue to deliver the high level of customer service to our patients and to assure the new employee gets properly trained and oriented into the Nuvance Health Medical Practice. Coordinator will also maintain and track employee progress and completion data throughout the orientation process.
In addition to the onboarding of clerical employees into the Medical Group this position will oversee the coordination maintenance and accuracy of physician/provider data the Kyruus FindCare tool. The manager will ensure that the information coming from physicians/providers practice management leadership risk compliance payer enrollment and other sources is communicated in a timely manner and accurately reflected in multiple Nuvance Health systems. The data entered into Kyruus must be maintained throughout the lifecycle of physicians/providers and clinical service locations including onboarding offboarding transfers leave of absences changes in scope and responsibility and the opening new closing down significant construction and transference of activities in physical addition to the maintenance the manager will develop and maintain administrative playbooks for the Kyruus product as it relates to the Medical Group.
Responsibilities:
  1. Serves as trainer for medical practice representative clerical orientation and patient experience/customer service training and support for onboarding process.
  2. Identifies educational needs of the learner and develops plans for learning experiences appropriate to meeting those needs in conjunction with preceptor/manager.
  3. Modifies and updates existing education programs modules and/or patient and family education materials as appropriate.
  4. Maintains orientation competency assessment and updates with necessary changes when needed.
  5. Creates orientation competency assessment materials for additional positions as needed.
  6. Serves as a resource to preceptors/trainers periodic check-ins (days) with employee/manager.
  7. As assigned conducts and rates assessments evaluates data develops action plan coaches and consults on learning needs identified.
  8. Meets performance expectations for customer service teamwork resource utilization and staff and self-development as outlined in performance review.
  9. Travels to practices offices for in-person assistance monitoring of preceptor training or check-in as needed.
  10. Provides ongoing day-to-day operational support of Kyruus applications upholds the overall business responsibility for Kyruus; serves as Kyruus implementation and functionality subject matter expert.
  11. Regular review of new provider onboarding managing/oversight of new provider practice groups in Kyruus Administrator tool (PMA)
  12. Ensures clinical/location/practice/contact data coming from providers (employed PSA PHO and community) practice management leadership risk compliance payor enrollment etc. is reflected in Nuvance Health systems including but not limited to: Cerner Soarian Kyruus MedKinetics Cactus Infor the Payer Enrollment database etc.
  13. Establishes and maintains relationships with affiliate NHMP practice management and provider groups point of contact for validating community provider data; specifically specialty labels and biographies (as appropriate)
  14. Interfaces with key clinical leaders (who function as clinical experts for the clinical data) including Nuvance Health service line Institute leads as well as VPMAs CMO to govern and oversee clinical accuracy of Kyruus tool
  15. Guides/executes clinical key word differentiation template application and maintenance
  16. Follows all compliance and regulatory guidelines.
  17. Demonstrates effective presentation and facilitation skills
  18. Performs other duties as required.

  20. Demonstrates regular reliable and predictable attendance.
Education Skills and Experience:
  • Minimum formal education of an associate degree appropriate candidates with high school degree or equivalent with the necessary experience and skills will be considered.
  • Requires 3-5 years of experience.
  • Customer Service experience required.
  • Healthcare experience required
  • Soarian/Cerner experience preferred
  • Detail-oriented
  • Comfortable in ambiguity and with developing and optimizing new processes/tools
  • Proficient in Outlook Teams Word Excel PowerPoint and SharePoint
Salary Range: $33.21 - $61.68 Hourly commensurate with experience
