Engineering Intern

The New Product Development Engineering Intern plays a handson role in supporting the design and refinement of pumps controls and waterhandling systems used across residential commercial and industrial applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist engineering teams in developing new pump and waterhandling products components and system solutions.
• Build assemble and test prototypes to evaluate performance reliability and manufacturability.
• Conduct engineering analyses including fluid dynamics thermal behavior tolerance stackups and material evaluations.
• Support laboratory testing by setting up equipment collecting data and documenting results.
• Participate in design reviews and contribute ideas to improve product functionality cost and sustainability.
• Create and update engineering documentation such as CAD models drawings BOMs and test reports.
• Collaborate with manufacturing quality and sourcing teams to ensure smooth transition from prototype to production.

Preferred Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Mechatronics or a related field.
• Experience with CAD tools (SolidWorks Creo or similar).
• Familiarity with engineering testing equipment and data acquisition tools.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in crossfunctional teams.
• Interest in sustainable technologies and waterrelated engineering challenges.

The salary for this internship will be $25-27 per hour.
