We are seeking an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Consultant with strong expertise in Performance & Goals (PMGM) Succession Planning and Career Development Planning (CDP). The ideal candidate will combine hands-on configuration expertise with business process consulting skills and will play a key role in delivering large-scale global HCM transformation programs from strategy through successful cloud-enabled implementation.
This role requires strong client-facing capabilities solution design skills and delivery leadership with end-to-end ownership across design build test and deployment phases.
Lead and support end-to-end implementations of:
Performance Management & Goal Management (PMGM)
Succession Planning
Career Development Planning (CDP)
Configure and customize:
PMGM templates and XML configurations
Section weights ratings workflows and route maps
Role-Based Permissions (RBP) for forms sections and fields
Calibration sessions templates views and participant access
Continuous Performance Management features (activities feedback tracking)
Succession Org Chart display fields readiness icons
Nomination methods (Position-based Pool-based Role-based)
CDP and Mentoring integrations using talent pools or eligibility rules
Configure unit test and support relevant SAP SuccessFactors modules
Retrieve and manage data from Employee Central
Understand business processes and map them to SAP SuccessFactors solutions
Identify document As-Is processes and design To-Be processes
Analyze business requirements and identify:
Process improvement opportunities
System limitations and requirement gaps
Act as a trusted advisor and SME for Talent and Performance Management processes
Develop and review:
Functional Specification Documents
Configuration Workbooks
Test scenarios test cases scripts and test data
Lead and support:
System Testing Integration Testing and UAT
Cutover Go-Live and Hypercare support
Ensure high quality delivery through rigorous validation and defect resolution
Support integration requirements with:
Employee Central
Other SAP and third-party systems
Understand integration strategies data conversion and interface concepts
Contribute to:
Technical specifications
Integration testing
Data validation activities
Lead workstreams or small teams across multiple projects
Manage:
Scope timelines deliverables risks and issues
Change control and escalation processes
Work closely with:
Clients
Technical and functional teams
Third-party vendors
Prepare:
Effort estimates budgets and timelines
SOWs pricing inputs and resourcing plans
Ensure:
Adherence to SLAs
High client satisfaction
On-time and high-quality delivery
Drive:
Process improvements and innovation initiatives
Ensure:
Compliance with project methodology and quality standards
Proper risk issue and change management
Mentor junior consultants and foster a high-performance learning-oriented team culture
Participate in internal and client knowledge transfer sessions
Proactively review deliverables and escalate issues when required
Minimum 4 years of experience in SAP HCM / SuccessFactors
Valid SAP SuccessFactors PMGM certification is mandatory
Strong hands-on experience in:
PMGM
Succession Planning
Career Development Planning (CDP)
Minimum 2 end-to-end HCM implementations
At least 1 year experience in SuccessFactors implementations
Strong understanding of:
Performance management cycles
Talent management and succession frameworks
Experience working in large global multi-vendor teams
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
