What Youll Do

As a Part-Time Content Writer at Sozoroad you will help define our brand voice and engage our ideal clients through compelling articles and blog posts. Your primary responsibility will be creating high-quality content for our website with opportunities to contribute to email campaigns and other marketing initiatives.

Youll work closely with internal teams to produce clear engaging and SEO-friendly content that educates informs and connects with our audience.

Responsibilities

  • Write edit and publish engaging website content including articles and blog posts.
  • Create content for email letters and marketing campaigns as needed.
  • Optimize content for SEO to improve search visibility and organic traffic.
  • Ensure consistency in tone messaging and brand voice across all content.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align content with business and marketing goals.
  • Manage the assigned content timelines and contribute to the editorial calendar.
  • Conduct research on industry trends competitors and target audiences.
  • Review content performance and apply insights to improve future content.
  • Stay updated on content marketing best practices SEO trends and digital platforms.

You are a strong writer with a passion for clear impactful storytelling. You understand how content supports brand credibility and business growth and youre comfortable adapting your writing style for different audiences and formats.

Youre organized self-motivated and able to manage deadlines in a remote fast-paced environment.



Requirements

  • Strong communication skills are essential for collaborating effectively within the organization.
  • A bachelors degree in Communications Journalism Marketing or a related field is preferred but not required. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
  • Proven experience in content writing content marketing or a similar role. (NOTE: Provide a link to your portfolio within your resume.)
  • Pro-active and solution-foucsed with solid knowledge of SEO principles and best practices.
  • Experience writing for websites blogs and email campaigns.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) including WordPress and other platforms.
  • Excellent writing and editing abilities paired with attention to detail and a readiness to stay current with evolving trends.
  • The ability to analyze content performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly makes strong critical thinking essential.
  • Strong research skills and ability to translate industry trends into engaging content.
  • Self-motivated organized and capable of meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Adaptability to work within Eastern Standard Time (EST) for efficient collaboration.
  • Basic graphic design skills and familiarity with tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite are a plus but not required.
