Position Details:

Title: Special Education Teacher
Location: Olympia Fields IL
Duration: 13th Jan 2026 to 3rd June 2026
Onsite/Virtual: Onsite
Position Type: Contract
Working Hours: 32.5 to 35 hours weekly from Monday to Friday ( 7:15am-2:15pm)
Student Age Group: Elementary school.
Case Load: 8 students

Responsibilities: Special Education Teacher

Develop and implement individualized lesson plans and instructional strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of students with disabilities.
Create implement and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students ensuring goals are met and documented appropriately.
Conduct assessments and monitor student progress to track their academic social and emotional development.
Work closely with general education teachers parents and support staff to coordinate services and ensure a cohesive educational plan for each student.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports the unique needs of students with special needs.

Qualifications: Special Education Teacher

Possess a Bachelor’s Degree.
Hold an LBS1 or ECE SPED Certificate.
Any prior Elementary school SPED experience is highly desirable.
