Director of Finance
The Director of Finance at The Campbell House Lexington will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial operations of our historic hotel. This leadership position demands a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills to drive financial performance ensure compliance and support the companys long-term growth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing budgeting forecasting reporting and financial planning while working closely with other departments to optimize profitability and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of financial strategies to support the companys goals.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports statements and forecasts.
- Manage budgeting processes analyze variances and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and financial policies.
- Collaborate with department heads to monitor financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Oversee cash flow management accounts payable/receivable and payroll functions.
- Lead mentor and develop the finance team to maximize productivity and professional growth.
- Partner with external auditors financial institutions and consultants as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Business Administration or a related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in finance management preferably in hospitality or a related industry.
- Strong understanding of financial software accounting principles and regulatory frameworks.
- Proven leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent analytical communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- High level of professionalism integrity and attention to detail.
