Length: 6 months to perm Full-time
Major Job Responsibilities:
Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices.
Maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items. Maintains records of merchandise shipped. Examines stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing line. May prepare kitting packages.
Completes pick functions encompassing all pick processes:
Paper Pick
Paper Smart Pick
Paperless Pick
Parcel Batch Pick
LTL Pick
Completes put-away function of received goods.
CPD labeling by customer requirements.
Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift. (US ONLY)
Business/Technical Knowledge Skills Abilities (KSAs):
Basic math skills Proficient in Windows NT Microsoft Word Excel and email.
Job Complexity:
Works on assignments that are routine in nature requiring limited judgment. Has little or no role in decision-making.
Supervision Required:
Normally receives detailed instructions on all work. Works under close supervision. Must be able to effectively work within a team environment.
Education & Experience:
Typically requires less than 1 year of related experience. High School diploma or GED equivalent.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift carry and move 50 pounds (intermittent and frequent) Ability to reach and bend Ability use hand-truck Ability to use pallet jack
