Will work around students school schedule.The imaging technician student is involved in a variety of technical procedures to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for and/or performing ultrasound examinations for diagnosis of patients.
Education: High school graduate or equivalent education required. Current student in final spring semester of an approved school of Ultrasound Science.
Experience: Letter of support from Program Director.
- Applies knowledge of growth and development to appropriately care for all patients served.
- Under direct supervision of a registered technologist operates highly specialized technical equipment to obtain quality radiographs.
- Performs duties associated with processing patients which may include scheduling registration file management and computer processing skills.
- Evaluates and positions patients with a high degree of professional ethics care courtesy patience and safety.
What We Require:
Education: High school graduate or equivalent education required. Current student in 3rd or 4th quarter of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
Experience: Letter of support from Program Director.
Other Minimum Qualifications: Good interpersonal technical skills and flexibility in assignments.
