Our Houston branch is ready for its next chapter. Were looking for an Outside Sales star a seasoned waterworks professional whos ready to build a sales presence from the ground up grow new customer relationships and set the tone for a winning culture.

What Youll Do

This isnt a maintenance role its a builders role. Youll lay the foundation for growth by combining industry knowledge and a hands-on sales mindset.

  • Build the book: Develop and execute a strategy to grow the Houston market bringing on new contractors municipalities and engineering accounts.
  • Be the face of Winston-Cox: Represent the company with professionalism and integrity in every interaction.
  • Lead by example: Youll be the first call customers make and the person new hires will model themselves after as the team grows.
  • Recruit & develop: Help identify hire and mentor future sales talent as the branch expands.
  • Collaborate across functions: Work closely with inside sales purchasing and operations to ensure flawless service and strong follow-through.
  • Drive profitable growth: Track performance metrics monitor margins and partner with leadership to meet revenue and profitability targets.
  • Shape the culture: Set a tone of accountability energy and pride both inside and outside the branch.

What You Bring

  • Industry credibility: 5 years in waterworks or site-utilities sales: you know the products specs and customer expectations.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: Comfortable operating independently making decisions and owning results.
  • Relationship-driven: A trusted partner to contractors municipalities and engineers who value follow-through and responsiveness.
  • Strategic & tactical: Can create a plan and execute it from business development to follow-up and retention.
  • Communication skills: Professional approachable and persuasive across all levels.
