Job Summary
Med Aide Join Our Caring Team at Daniel Island in Charleston SC
Were currently hiring aMed Aidewho is passionate about helping others and providing the best possible care.
What Youll Do
- Safely administer medications according to the physicians orders and residents care plans.
- Accurately document medication administration and maintain records in our system.
- Observe residents for any changes in condition side effects or concerns and promptly report to nursing staff.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living providing compassion and dignity in every interaction.
- Build meaningful connections with residents families and your fellow team members.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive community environment where everyone feels valued.
What Were Looking For
- Active 40-hour Medication Aide certification (or equivalent depending on state requirements).
- Strong communication skills in English both verbal and written.
- Compassion patience and a genuine interest in serving older adults.
- Basic computer skills for medication tracking and documentation.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including evenings weekends and holidays when needed.
