We are looking for a special kind of person a St Vincents kind of person. Someone who puts compassion connection and caring for other people at the heart of everything they do.

As a Casual Kitchen Hand youll be part of an experienced engaged and dedicated team helping to create a welcoming professional and supportive care experience for the residents of St Vincents Care Services Yennora.

St Vincents Care Services Yennora (locally known as Rosary Village) is a 141-bed facility located approximately 29km from Sydneys CBD.

We are seeking people who are passionate about providing care that is sensitive to residents individualised needs preferences and choices and are committed to building strong meaningful connections with residents.

Things that work for us:

  • Cert III in Hospitality and/or Food Preparation Certificate desirable

  • Experience in Hospitality Aged Care Hospital environment and/or related field ideal

  • Providing services that support high quality food services outcomes for residents customers and staff of the Facility

  • Previous experience in a similar role assisting in the preparation and serving of meals

  • High level of customer service skills

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills

  • Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (within the last 6 months)

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check will be a requirement of this role.
