Job Summary

Provides integrated partnership support aligned with the Gillette Childrens mission to raise funds and awareness for Gillette Childrens Specialty Healthcare through collaboration with Childrens Miracle Network (CMN) and corporate partners. Contributes to organizational objectives by developing strategic fundraising plans and revenue projections building and maintaining relationships with CMN partners overseeing CMN fundraising performance against established goals and cultivating key CMN business leaders. Collaborates across all organizational divisions to plan and execute donor identification cultivation and stewardship strategies.

In addition supports philanthropic growth through digital marketing and content creation initiatives including campaign content that amplifies CMN partnerships engages donors across digital channels and drives awareness and participation. Partners with internal teams to align digital fundraising efforts and social media with overall development goals leveraging data and insights to optimize reach engagement and fundraising impact.

This is a hybrid role with expectations to work onsite in St Paul MN a minimum of two days per week with Thursdays being required (subject to change per department needs). Regular driving & travel within the designated territory is required; the territory includes the Twin Cities Northern MN and Southern MN.

Compensation & Benefits

The annual salary range for this opportunity is $64708/annually to $97073/annually with a median salary of $80891/annually. Pay is dependent on several factors including relevant work experience and internal equity. Salary is just one component of the compensation package for employees. Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Represents Gillette in partner responsibilities in order to meet the income/expense goal for the upcoming year.
    • Assignment as Gillette lead for certain top CMN Corporate Partners
    • Responsibility to manage the stewardship and solicitation plan for each partner by tailoring goals/objectives for leadership employees and customers.
    • Enhance all partner relationships with personal and meaningful contact with each partners locations by combining use of in-person visits phone calls email and virtual techniques.
    • Assess current fundraising strategies progress and challenges.
    • Work with partners to problem solve challenges and obstacles through meeting provides resources (i.e. literature) solutions and generating new ideas and strategies.
    • Create Gillette materials and informational presentations to present at campaign kickoffs and stewardship celebrations.
    • Collaborate with the Communications team to develop collateral materials based upon individual partner needs specific campaigns and corporate guidelines incorporating themes and targeting customer markets. Review all communications plans annually to maintain strong consistency in message but also update look and feel in a way that renews partner engagement and interest.
  • Partners with teammates and Foundation leadership to develop and implement an annual operating plan to meet CMN fund-raising goals for charitable contributions with local and national accounts and support overall fundraising goals.
    • Ongoing monitoring and YTD comparison of fundraising achievement.
    • Reviews accomplishments and initiates planning for areas for growth and improvement.
    • Develops new and innovative fundraising strategies that stand out from other markets and compete to succeed.
    • Supports foundation events where needed including partnership and sponsorship outreach and coordination.
    • Identifies patient families and stories that will coordinate well with CMN and connects them to CMN and foundation activities.
  • Develops new corporate partners while building on current partners relationships.
    • Identifies new potential relationships through networking to create new partner opportunities.
    • Work 1-1 with patient families regarding connections they have to businesses and groups.
    • Work proactively to identify opportunities for partners to collaborate on events and fundraisers at Gillette.
  • Works with other Gillette departments and managers in order to effectively reach the common goal.
    • Collaborate with communications department on internal and external announcements for upcoming events and recognition of partners and their achievements.
    • Integral partner within the foundation to identify individuals connected with CMN where we might advance relationships possible future major gift donors volunteer committee members and possible attendees for future foundation events.
    • Initiate and lead hospital tours for partners and their employees.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 2 years experience in similar philanthropy roles
  • Valid drivers license and ability to drive own car for appointments meetings events etc. Majority of travel within 150 miles.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

  • Strong interpersonal relationship skills to build relationships with internal and external partners
  • Computer experience with word-processing and database management
  • Digital marketing including content creation social media and digital fundraising campaigns that drive donor engagement and impact.
  • Strong presentation (both verbal and written) and public speaking skills
  • Proven qualities of self-initiative and self-motivation
  • Competent analytical and quantitative skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities; outstanding organizational skills
  • Resourcefulness and flexibility
  • Ability to plan and execute strategies independently problem-solve and address customer concerns independently

Preferred

  • 2 years experience in digital and social media content creation
  • Previous experience in community relations or corporate giving
  • Background in Health Care
