Thornton Tomasetti Inc. seeks Senior Project Director in Dallas TX to coordinate project activities with clients architects developers contractors and owners. Requirements: Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Architecture or a related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or related occupation: evaluating and interpreting project related building codes to determine scope of code required changes; performing architectural new and repair or alterations design work including producing drawings with CAD software and producing project specifications; and utilizing experience with Revit and Bluebeam studio; and coordinating work with client engineers and consultants. Two (2) years of experience must include: utilizing forensic process to perform forensic investigation to determine cause of building system failures including building envelopes and architectural system failures; participating in litigation support of construction related claims including deposition/mediation/trial participation. 30% of travel required nationally and internationally. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies. When not telecommuting must report to work site.
