Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Position Overview
Senior Helpers is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team on a part-time / casual basis. This role is ideal for nurses who value flexibility while making a meaningful impact in the lives of seniors and their families. As part of our in-home care team you will provide professional nursing support promote wellness and ensure the highest standard of care in a warm respectful environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe client-centered nursing care in accordance with professional standards and company policies.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and document clients health status reporting changes promptly.
- Support seniors with daily living activities while fostering dignity and independence.
- Collaborate with caregivers families and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate records and uphold confidentiality.
- Contribute to a positive supportive team culture.
Qualifications
- Current registration and good standing with the BCCNM (British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives).
- Valid CPR/First Aid certification.
- Experience in senior care community health or home care preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to varying client needs.
- Compassion patience and respect for seniors and their families.
Schedule & Compensation
- Casual position: flexible shifts based on client needs and staff coverage.
- Competitive hourly wage commensurate with experience.
