Job Description
We are looking for a highly-motivated Research Scientist/Engr-1 to join the growing and dynamic viral glycoprotein production team in the Veesler lab which supports vaccine and therapeutic development and structural studies of coronaviruses paramyxoviruses herpesviruses and other zoonotic pathogens. The position will involve competent participation in key projects requiring analytical and decision-making skills in addition to technical skills and scientific knowledge of the field.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ongoing duties will include skillful management and support for projects and experiments such as
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors Degree in Biochemistry Biology or related field and one year of experience working in a biochemistry lab OR Equivalent combination of education/experience.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Desire to set up high throughput glycoprotein production pipelines with multiple projects ongoing at a time; good analytical skills ability to contribute to project decisions
