Role Purpose
The aircraft Fueling Supervisor responsibility is to supervise and coordinating all Aircraft Fuelers in the Operation safely and efficiently while fueling/defueling and servicing of aircrafts at the airport. You will need to perform simple mathematical functions such as adding subtracting multiplying and dividing with regards to weight measurement and volume to interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions as they pertain to fueling. Other responsibilities include issuing written and verbal instructions while ensuring adherence to safety procedures.
This role requires you to maintain a safe and secure work environment in accordance with local health safety and security policies and procedures.
What you will be doing
- Supervising Aircraft Fuelers in their assigned areas to ensure Fuelers are performing their duties in a professional safe and efficient manner according to Company/Carriers standards to ensure the effective operation of fueling
- Recommending manpower requirements performing as a mentor while maintaining harmony among workers and resolving grievances
- Ensuring disciplinary procedures are conducted in a fair timely and consistent manner upholding the companys commitment to Equal Employment Opportunity
- Carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws
- Responsible for accurate accounting of fuel transactions
Safety Security Wellbeing and Compliance:
You will have a responsibility and duty whilst at work to take reasonable care of the health safety and wellbeing of yourself and others in accordance with provided information training and workplace health and safety rules or procedures. The company is committed to providing a safe working environment for all staff all areas of our business there is a potential risk to the health safety and welfare to everyone on our sites through the misuse of alcohol and drugs. As such the Company prohibits such misuse and carries out regular testing to enforce our Substance Misuse Policy.
What we are looking for:
- Ability to proficiently read write and speak English and perform basic math calculations
- Handle fueling carts and fueling hoses which will require you to lift and move up to 70lbs.
- Work is done primarily outdoors; must be comfortable working in all weather conditions.
- Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.
- Prior experience preferred including possession of a Commercial Drivers License or experience in the Oil and Gas Industry (preferred)
