The Advanced Practice Provider Fellow (APPF) serves as a member of a collaborative health team made up of physicians physician assistants nurse practitioners nursing staff technicians and various support personnel. Under general physician supervision provides quality service in a caring and professional manner actively supporting team efforts to ensure cost effectiveness and service excellence.
Fellowship opportunity available for PAs and NPs. Participate in a 12-month intense training program in Inpatient and Outpatient Neurology consisting of patient care in General Neurology various sub-specialty clinics including Epilepsy Headache Movement Disorders Multiple Sclerosis Neuromuscular Disease and Stroke and elective off-service rotations in Neurosurgery Hospitalist Service and Pediatric Neurology as well as a simulation lab training. The applicant must be a licensed PA or NP by the start of the fellowship. Monday-Friday No Weekend/No Holidays. Please submit Letter of interest and NP/PA School transcripts.
What We Require:
Education: Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program
Experience: 0
Licensure certification and/or registration:Current Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license. DEA licensure. AHA BLS ACLS certification.
