What to Expect in Your Day-to-Day
As a Personal Support Worker your work will include:
- Engaging in meaningful conversation and building genuine relationships with clients
- Assisting clients with daily living activities: mobility support dressing bathing and personal hygiene
- Preparing nutritious meals and assisting with feeding or meal routines as needed
- Helping with light housekeeping tasks and supporting clients to maintain a comfortable home environment
- Observing and reporting on changes in clients physical mental and behavioural health; completing documentation of care activities

Qualifications Were Looking For
To be considered you should have:
- A genuine passion for providing care and support to others
- Excellent communication skills and a client-centred mindset
- Availability to work non-traditional hours such as early morning evenings and alternate weekends
- A valid drivers license (G or G2 Classification) access to a reliable vehicle and proof of automobile insurance
- To protect our patients we require current vulnerable sector check screening a clear background check
- Previous experience in home care or a PSW role is an asset (though we welcome motivated newcomers)
