Description of Work
Central Regional Hospital is currently recruiting for a Licensed Mental Health Professional. The primary purpose of this position is to provide group therapy for adult patients primarily as well as to children and adolescent patients if needed. This position reports directly to the PST Psychology/SW/Creative Arts Supervisor to ensure that the treatment components are clinically sound evidence based and meet hospital and departmental clinical objectives and standards. This position may also be required to supervise social work students and/or volunteers performing work or service during group treatments and will be required to be in direct observation of these students/volunteers during these activities. This position will participate in specialized activities to enhance patients well-being and treatment. This position may function as a liaison to a patient care unit participate in treatment team planning and complete patient enrollment in preferred groups.Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences
Salary Range: $50633 - $88607

Masters degree in psychology clinical social work marriage and family therapy clinical counseling or human services related field from an appropriately accredited educational institution. Necessary Special Qualification Requirements Must hold an independent license to practice as a mental health clinical practitioner in North Carolina or have met the requirements to be licensed in North Carolina at the associate or provisional level as a mental health clinical practitioner.EEO Statement
