We are seeking a motivated Electrical/Hardware Design Engineer with experience in electronic hardware design and test. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in PCB design using Altium Designer strong understanding of digital logic circuits and hands-on experience with common electronics test and measurement equipment. This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary engineering team on advanced electronic systems.
As an Electrical/Hardware Design Engineer your duties will include the following but are not limited to:
Develop and maintain schematic and PCB layouts using Altium Designer.
Design analyze and troubleshoot digital and mixed-signal circuits.
Perform hardware bring-up debugging and validation using oscilloscopes logic analyzers function generators and power supplies.
Support prototype builds test documentation and design reviews.
Collaborate closely with firmware mechanical and systems engineers to ensure seamless system integration.
Participate in product testing verification and continuous improvement activities.
Required Qualifications:
U.S. Citizenship
B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field.
5 years of experience in electronic design and testing.
Active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
Proficiency with Altium Designer (schematic capture and PCB layout).
Strong understanding of digital logic signal integrity and circuit fundamentals.
Proficient with standard lab instrumentation (oscilloscopes logic analyzers function generators etc.).
Excellent teamwork communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
8 years of experience in electronic design and testing.
Experience with embedded firmware development.
Familiarity with VHDL and Xilinx FPGA design tools.
Basic understanding of embedded systems and hardware-software integration.
