In the role of Tidal Finance - Summer Student you will provide support for a variety of activities related to the Energy Marketing and Trading Finance functions of Enbridge including but not limited to the coordination of payment processing and the AP subledger oversight of Cash Management/Cash Clearing duties as well as daily bank activity/bank balances and assistance with Crude Oil settlement. Its an excellent job for someone wanting experience in a high performing finance team with exposure to a high volume of transactions.

Placement Details:

This is an 4 month co-op placement starting in May 2026 located in Calgary AB.

What you will do:

• Process Payments and Reconcile AP Subledger for Closing (All Commodities)
• Manage Openlink Actuals General Ledger Interface
• Oversee Cash Management and Clearing for All Commodities
• Handle OpenLink Financial Settlements and Interface Management
• Conduct Reviews of Bank Broker and Balance Sheet Reconciliations
• Reconcile AR Subledger for Account Receivables Closure
• Enter Shipper Balances into Source System Accurately
• Provide Support for Crude Oil Settlement Processes

Who you are:

• You are currently enrolled in a full time post-secondary program studying Accounting/Finance and will be returning to full time school immediately following the work term.
• Effective and professional communication both verbal and written with ability to communicate with all levels within the organization.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
• Effective time management and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Solid computer skills and experience using MS Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint Outlook).
• Ability to actively and consistently represent Enbridges core values (Safety Integrity Respect Inclusion High Performance).

Working Conditions:

• Office based role located in Calgary.
