Location: This is a full-time position located in Augusta.
Core Responsibilities:
Delivers essential office and administrative support to the Office of Aging and Disability Services (OADS) specifically within the Long-Term Support Services Unit.
Complete accurate and timely classification data entry of Medicaid eligibility for individuals receiving Long Term Care (LTC) under MaineCare.
Answer routine telephone calls for OADS and quickly route callers to correct resources.
Create spreadsheets and perform data entry and management.
Organize record and maintain computerized and manual files.
Operate technical office materials and equipment according to set procedures.
Perform multiple office support functions related to business and other OADS operational needs.
Comply with confidentiality requirements and other security protocols.
Provide excellent customer service.
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify for this position you must have training education or experience in office and administrative support work that demonstrates 1) competency in applying a solid knowledge of modern office practices to perform complex varied office support tasks and 2) the ability to use independent decision-making on the appropriate processes to follow information to process and actions to take in accordance with standard procedures. All positions in this classification assume the qualifications of: Office Assistant I Office Assistant II and Office Associate I.
