Delgado Community College is seeking a motivated and detail oriented individual to fill a full-time Mobile Equipment Operator 2 position to support the Shipping and Receiving department with the College states assets.

Minimum Qualifications
One year of experience in mobile equipment operations.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
Functions as liaison with department(s) college wide to schedule the delivery of assets from Shipping & Receiving.
Ensures tagged assets are properly marked on the asset itself.
Records and manages fleet vehicles in recoup per state guidelines.
Physically delivers and retrieves fleet vehicles from various repair locations.
Utilizes forklift to make deliveries in Shipping & Receiving and loading surplus trucks to the Louisiana Property Assistance Agency (LPAA).
Coordinates the retrieval storage and disposal of college surplus property.
Assist in record keeping and final disposal for tracking purposes. This position requires extensive working knowledge of usage of forklift and other heavy machinery.
Position-Specific Details:
Appointment Type: Probational - This position may be filled as a Probationary Appointment requiring 12-24 months on probation.
Compensation: The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
