Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
Location: Brick NJ 08724
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: MondayFriday 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
Pay: $23/hour
Position Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Certified Medical Assistantfor an exciting job in Brick NJ.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare patients and exam rooms; stock supplies
Obtain and document vital signs and medical histories
Perform approved clinical procedures (EKG PFT audiometry UDS BAT phlebotomy lab testing)
Assist with treatments procedures and minor surgeries
Administer oral and parenteral medications (non-IV) as directed
Support medication reconciliation and test result follow-up
Provide patient education and effective communication
Schedule appointments; maintain EMR and patient records
Assist with billing inventory and office operations
Adhere to safety privacy and compliance standards
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
AHA BLS certification
Active MA certification (CMA RMA AMCA or NCMA recognized bodies)
Ambulatory/outpatient experience and EMR familiarity preferred
