Role description:

We are seeking an ambitious Associate Cost Consultant to join our dynamic North West commercial team. If you excel in client service enjoy new challenges and have a client-focused mindset we want you on our team. Youll play a key role in major Residential Commercial and Sports & Leisure projects including one of the largest in the region working alongside our Senior Commercial Director. This is a unique opportunity to lead high-value complex programmes and drive our continued growth and innovation.

Role accountabilities:

• Lead cost management assignments (10m100m) from inception to completion ensuring high standards throughout
• Act as main client contact building trusted relationships and adding value
• Advise on procurement contracts cost management and change control
• Prepare and present cost reports forecasts and financial analyses
• Develop and manage construction budgets tracking changes and risks
• Deliver accurate cost planning and estimates using digital tools (CostX BIM Excel Power BI)
• Analyse financial impacts of design changes and recommend solutions
• Coach and support teams driving continuous improvement and innovation
• Ensure compliance with contracts project scope and best practice
• Champion new technologies and sustainable solutions

Qualifications & Experience:

• Chartered professional (MRICS) with significant cost and commercial management experience on medium to large projects (10m100m) across the full project lifecycle
• Experience managing people motivating and developing teams
• Strong track record in building client relationships and acting as a trusted adviser
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Strong commercial acumen and organisational awareness
• Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience
• Skilled in digital cost management tools (e.g. CostX CATO Excel Power BI) and familiar with BIM
• Committed to sustainability and ongoing professional development
