Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Work proactively to problem solve with yield or quality impact on our products through development of measurement recipes that can provide quick and accurate feedback on the product integrity.
• Participate in new technology development and startup alongside with Research & Development (R&D) fabrication (Fab) site in US.
• Participate in world-wide discussions such as Copy-Smart Team (CST) for continuous improvement on the toolset(s) assigned across Micron Fabs. Share Best-Known-Methods and lesson learned across the network.
• Set up tool qualification criteria and implement monitoring through Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts.
• Collaborate with Engineering Operations and/or Application teams to optimize tool maintenance schedules and utilization.
• Develop and run projects crafted to enhance inline detection improve efficiency reduce cost reduce tool measurement variability and improve machine availability.
• Partner with the tool suppliers and owners to explore innovative ways of doing things to overcome the challenge of the shrinking technology nodes.
• Support Fab through data analysis providing knowledgeable summations of results and recommendations on how to proceed with process changes equipment availability improvements and cost reduction work.
• Ensure engineering team is trained on recipe maintenance tool recovery troubleshooting and maintenance activities for the assigned tools.
• Determine Sampling strategy to meet Production Process Control and Quality requirement.

Requirements:

• Bachelors or advanced degree in Engineering or Science is required
• Strong analytical logical and critical thinking skills
• Effective communicator able to collaborate across all levels
• Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning
• Internship or experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus
• Demonstrated leadership and a track record of impact are highly desirable
• Interest in and knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron is preferred.
