As part of the Wind Blades Manufacturing Engineering team in Vadodara this role supports plant safety and product quality through the development of automation tools and equipment solutions. Job Description
Your Role
In this role you will work closely with crossfunctional teams to design implement and sustain automation solutions that improve safety and quality.
Key responsibilities include:
Develop and implement spot automation solutions to reduce manual operations ergonomic stress and safety risks on the shop floor
Design test and validate new manufacturing tools and equipment to improve quality performance and process stability
Design and implement pokayoke (errorproofing) solutions within tools equipment and automation systems to prevent defects and enhance process reliability
Partner with Safety Quality Manufacturing and Maintenance teams to identify automation and errorproofing opportunities and translate needs into technical solutions
Support installation commissioning testing and production handover of new equipment and automation systems
Create and maintain technical documentation work instructions and risk assessments for new tools equipment and automation solutions
Troubleshoot automation systems and support continuous improvement of existing equipment and processes
Basic Qualifications (Requirements)
Bachelors degree in Engineering (Automation Electrical Mechanical Industrial or equivalent)
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing engineering automation equipment development or related roles
Demonstrated experience with automated or semiautomated manufacturing tools or equipment
Working knowledge of industrial safety requirements machine safeguarding and risk assessment processes
Ability to interpret and develop engineering drawings and technical documentation
Comfort working in a production environment and supporting onfloor implementation activities
Desired Qualifications
Experience within wind blade manufacturing composites or similar industrial environments
Exposure to robotics programmable logic controllers sensors or industrial automation systems
Familiarity with manufacturing quality systems and problemsolving methodologies
Experience supporting equipment upgrades or new technology introduction projects
Knowledge of ergonomics and userfocused equipment design
Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively across functions
