Job Summary

ATCOs Australian operations are headquartered in Perth Western Australia and specialise in creating innovative customer focused energy and infrastructure solutions. ATCO owns and operates Western Australias largest gas distribution network with more than 850000 connection points and 15000 km of pipelines.

Were looking for a Procurement Lead Direct with a strong construction utilities background to manage direct procurement for materials subcontractors and this role youll develop category strategies ensure compliance and deliver commercial value while supporting project delivery and supply chain resilience. Youll work closely with project teams and senior leaders to influence decisions and drive best-practice procurement across the organisation.

Located in Jandakot WA.

What You Will Do:

Develop and implement category strategies for construction-related spend aligning with project timelines and organisational objectives.
Drive supplier performance and manage KPIs through effective governance contract reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
Partner with project teams and mentor Procurement Specialiststo forecast demand plan sourcing activities and ensure timely delivery of critical materials and services.
Identify and mitigate supply chain risks including modern slavery and SOCI compliance to safeguard project delivery and reputation.
Influence stakeholders and challenge the status quo introducing innovative procurement practices that deliver efficiency and cost savings.
Streamline procurement processes to reduce sourcing cycle times and improve operational outcomes.

What Were Looking For:

Degree in business supply chain procurement or equivalent experience.
Extensive experience in direct procurement within construction or infrastructure projects.
Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen.
Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex supplier relationships.
Knowledge of risk management and compliance frameworks.
