Hours: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
On-Call: One week of call required

Compensation:

Hourly Rate: $60.06
Non-Taxable Stipend: $1442/week

Position Overview

A hospital is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join the diagnostic imaging team on a night shift assignment. The technologist will perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety and compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures as ordered by physicians
Position patients accurately and operate imaging equipment safely
Ensure radiation safety standards and ALARA principles are followed
Review images for quality and completeness before submission
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Communicate effectively with radiologists physicians nurses and support staff
Provide compassionate patient care and clear procedural explanations
Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled

Required Qualifications

Active Radiologic Technologist license in good standing
ARRT certification (required)
Minimum 12 years of recent acute-care experience preferred
Ability to work independently during night shifts
Strong knowledge of radiology equipment and imaging protocols
Excellent communication and patient-care skills
