Project/Program: Special Hearings Information System (SHIS)
Job Description:
OCFS is required to meet strict deadlines for completing Administrative Reviews and Fair Hearings. To ensure compliance with these mandates OCFS adheres to defined timeframes ensuring hearings are scheduled conducted and decided promptly. To support this compliance OCFS implemented the FHARM (Fair Hearings Administrative Review Management) application which integrates with AIMS (Advanced Integrated Management System) CONNECTIONS and SHIS (Special Hearings Information System). This position will be responsible for the support and maintenance of the SHIS application and its interfaces including handling new work requests from the Bureau of Special Hearings. The role is essential in assisting Bureau of Special Hearings staff by ensuring accurate information management ultimately facilitating timely hearings in accordance with mandated deadlines.
Day to Day:
Gather and analyze new requirements from the Bureau of Special Hearings.
Develop and implement enhancements to the SHIS application to align with evolving needs.
Maintain and optimize Oracle Advanced Queueing and stored procedures related to FHARM integration.
Generate ad-hoc reports to support hearing timeliness and compliance monitoring.
Address system issues to maintain operational efficiency.
Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for the SHIS application.
Mandatory Qualifications:
Systems Developer: Develops and implements applications and programs for the
backend processing systems used in businesses and organizations.
Expert: 84 months: Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.
Requested Qualifications:
- 84 months experience developing and implementing applications leveraging (4.0 & above) MVC design pattern.
- 84 months experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) application integration including development of web-services using Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) and SOAP/Restful APIs.
- 84 months experience in Oracle designing relational databases data modelling & deployment of SQL objects PL/SQL coding and debugging creating XML type stored procedures & packages writing & testing complex SQL queries.
- 84 months experience in utilizing HTML5 AJAX JavaScript jQuery Bootstrap and Cascading Style Sheet client-side technologies to build responsive user interfaces
- 72 months experience developing analytical and statistical reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
- 60 months experience developing and utilizing Oracle Advanced Queuing. Required Experience:
