Job Summary
Join us to drive innovation in the energy trading sector! As a Software Developer you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining cutting-edge software solutions bridging the gap between technology and trading operations.
What you will do:
Design implement and maintain software solutions tailored to the needs of front middle and back office functions.
Develop and enhance Beacon ETRM subsystems including invoicing market data analytics risk monitoring and trade lifecycle management.
Manage and improve interfaces with 3rd-party systems such as exchange feeds power scheduling systems and regulatory reporting tools.
Ensure data integrity through reconciliation processes and unit testing.
Support compliance and regulatory reporting systems for Axpo US operations.
Collaborate closely with teams across trading origination risk and operations to deliver innovative solutions.
What you bring & who you are:
University degree in computer science computer engineering or a related field.
Ideally 3 years of professional experience in IT within the commodities services industry (energy preferred).
Proficiency in Python and familiarity with other modern OOP languages.
Understanding of ETRM/CTRM systems and commodity lifecycles.
Knowledge of US energy markets including power and natural gas.
Strong analytical skills solution-focused mindset and ability to anticipate risks.
Excellent communication skills to bridge technical and business needs.

Salary Range*: $110000 - $13000 USD
*The actual compensation offered will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidates skills qualifications and relevant experience.
