Service Advisor
Position Overview: We are currently seeking candidates for the role of Service Advisor. This position is perfect for individuals experienced in customer service who are looking for a rewarding career. Experience in a dealership is not required. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills the ability to schedule appointments and the capacity to act as a liaison between customers and service technicians. Job Responsibilities:
- Greet service department customers promptly and courteouslyattitude is everything!
- Listen to customers and translate repair needs clearly to technicians.
- Upsell additional services using a low-pressure high-integrity approach.
- Provide accurate repair and maintenance estimates.
- Understand how to order parts effectively.
- Understand how to use the program Tekmetric.
- Adhere to dealership policies on vehicle care and operation.
- Follow up on every repair keeping customers informed of progress.
- Sell and manage extended warranties.
- Inspect repair quality and ensure all work is complete.
- Notify customers when their vehicles are ready for pick-up.
- Review and explain repairs and associated costs to customers.
- Handle minor customer concerns and complaints efficiently.
- Keep the Service Manager informed of all problems and potential issues.
- Maintain Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores in line with dealership standards.
