Description of Work
Staff psychiatrists serve as team leaders for multi-disciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care and addition to the evaluation of patients upon admission this position is responsible for providing inpatient psychiatric care which includes consultations preparing written psychiatric assessments including treatment plans as well as administrative recommendations chronic medication management psychotropic drug reviews provides consultation with medical staff as needed and providing appropriate coordination and continuation of the care for residents in adherence to state and federal guidelines.Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences
Salary Range: $163783 - $327566
*A Sign-on bonus of $20000 may be offered to the successful applicant(s) of this posting contingent on the 2025-2026 Budget Approval.

*Eligibility for Sign-on Bonus
To qualify for the Sign-on Bonus a newly hired permanent full-time or permanent part-time employee must work 30 to 40 hours per week to be eligible. Those who are eligible and working less than 40 hours a week will receive a prorated rate.
