Overview
Nelson Mullins is seeking a Business Litigation Associate to join its litigation group in the Atlanta office. As an AmLaw100 firm this will offer a unique opportunity to a lateral associate who wants to be part of a dynamic team. The ideal candidate has experience in complex litigation.
A Day in the Life
Firm attorneys in Atlanta have worked on many business and legal developments in the Southeast and beyond including national class action court cases formation of public companies financial institution capital transactions mergers and acquisitions and work on important pro bono cases.
The Firm moved to its current location at 201 17th Street NW in 2007 as the first tenant in a new building located at Atlantic Station a brownfield reclamation and mixed-used development that houses everyday amenities including alternative transportation options within walking distance. The office meets the U.S. Green Building Councils Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification.
All candidates are asked to submit a cover letter resume and a copy of their law school transcript.
We Know You
With1 to 3 years of business litigation experience you feel confident in your abilities to manage and drive cases forward while ushering a successful client experience. You are skilled at conducting and supervising electronic discovery at drafting substantial dispositive expert and/or discovery motions and you are confident in your ability to argue motions and take and defend depositions. With excellent academic credentials and strong writing analytical and communications skills you engage in your work with a productive and positive attitude. You are a member of the Georgia Bar or admitted to and in good standing with another states bar (and willing to go through the Georgia Bars admission process).
