Second Shift Oxy Fuel Table Operator
Location: Claysburg PA
WHO WE ARE:
Rockland Manufacturing is a family-owned business with multiple facilities in Bedford PA one in Claysburg PA and another facility in Seguin TX. We produce over 200 of the highest-quality custom attachments for heavy equipment made in the USA! This position is on second shift Monday through Thursday from 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM with overtime as required on Fridays.
WHAT YOU WOULD BE DOING:
As a Second Shift Oxy Fuel Table Operator you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating oxy fuel cutting equipment and supporting downstream fabrication processes. Duties include:
- Operating CNC oxy fuel cutting tables to cut steel plate and structural steel per work orders and drawings
- Preparing steel for cutting and forming operations
- Loading positioning and securing material using cranes forklifts or other material-handling equipment
- Removing sorting labeling and staging cut parts from plasma tables
- Using hand torches grinders chippers and other tools for cleanup and secondary operations
- Beveling and grinding parts to meet quality and weld requirements
WHATS IN IT FOR YOU:
Our starting wages range from $18.50$22.00 per hour based on experience. We offer the opportunity for wage increases every six months until you reach our top rate which is currently $28.00 per hour. Thats for everyoneregardless of job title. If youre a top performer you can earn top-performer pay.
