Job Title:Process Engineer Intern

Location:Marshall TX

Position Overview:We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Process Engineer Intern to join our team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in a manufacturing setting working closely with our process engineering team to improve processes enhance product quality and increase efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design development and optimization of manufacturing processes for cable and wire process.

  • Conduct time and motion studies to identify areas for process improvement.

  • Support the implementation of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including quality assurance maintenance and process to resolve technical issues.

  • Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities to address process challenges.

  • Assist in the preparation of technical documentation including process flow diagrams work instructions and standard operating procedures.

  • Monitor and analyze process data to identify trends and recommend corrective actions.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Industrial Engineering Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint).

  • Basic knowledge of CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD SolidWorks) is a plus.

  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles is desirable.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
