Job Description
Reporting to Head of People Systems & Technology the Senior People Systems & Operations Manager is the foundational technical resource for the People Operations function. This role ensures the reliability integrity and optimization of our HR technology stack. You will apply technical skills to manage systems (especially Sage People) ensure data quality streamline workflows and enable better decision-making through accurate reporting.
Your primary responsibilities will include:

This role ensures the reliability integrity and optimization of our HR technology stack. You will apply technical skills to manage systems (especially Sage People) ensure data quality streamline workflows and enable better decision-making through accurate reporting
Your primary responsibilities will include:
1. People Systems Configuration & Optimization
Lead the configuration testing documentation and troubleshooting of our core HRIS (Sage People) and secondary People systems (ATS LMS performance tools).
Manage and coordinate the technical aspects of system integrations across People platforms including API-based data flows configuration and vendor collaboration.
Ensure the HR technology stack operates reliably providing an excellent and consistent experience for employees and HR teams.
Drive scalable tech-enabled processes across the entire employee lifecycle.
2. People Data Integrity & Reporting
Build maintain and automate reporting for core HR metrics including headcount attrition workforce planning and engagement data.
Maintain data quality standards and ensure accurate privacy-compliant data governance across all People systems.
Translate data into clear insights and recommendations for HR leaders and business stakeholders.
3. Process Automation & Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities for efficiency gains and implement basic to intermediate automations across People Operations workflows (e.g. simple data flows notification triggers) using available low-code/scripting tools.
Assist in identifying ways to leverage new tooling including AI to reduce manual workload and enhance process flow efficiency.
4. Compensation Data Support (Analysis Focus)
Provide strong technical and analytical support for market benchmarking job levelling and pay structure analysis by ensuring the integrity and readiness of compensation data.
Qualifications:
System Configuration Expertise: Hands-on technical configuration experience with a modern HRIS ideally including Sage People.
Technical Systems Acumen: Ability to understand and leverage technical tools including HRIS administration basic SQL-based reporting and concepts around API data flows to improve operational efficiency.
HR System Experience: Experience with configuration and maintenance of multiple HR systems (e.g. Sage People ServiceNow Ashby LearnAmp time tracking tools).
Data Analysis: Solid data analysis skills and proficiency in using data visualization and analysis tools (e.g. Tableau Looker Power BI or advanced Sheets/Excel).
Process Improvement: Proven ability to identify manual processes and implement simple automations or process changes to improve speed and data accuracy.
Emerging Technology Awareness: An understanding of how emerging technologies such as LLMs and AI-enabled tools can be applied to support and improve HR workflow automation and analytics.
Communication: Ability to clearly translate technical concepts and system limitations for non-technical HR stakeholders.
