Programme Specialist Sustainability Assurance
Fixed Term Contract Until December 2026 (with potential to extend) Christchurch (Hybrid)
The Opportunity
As a Programme Specialist in the Sustainability Assurance team at AsureQuality you will play a key role in managing the day-to-day processes that support the national appointment of freshwater farm plan certifiers and auditors.
This role is ideally based in Christchurch working on a hybrid basis from our Burnside office with flexibility to work from home a few days each week. The position is a fixed-term contract through to the end of December 2026 with potential for extension depending on programme needs and performance.
Youll be joining a supportive collaborative team and have opportunities to grow while contributing to an important national sustainability programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the redesign and implementation of a national appointment programme for freshwater farm plan certifiers and auditors
- Manage applications competency documentation training and sign-off processes for applicants
- Provide responsive accurate support to regional councils applicants and central government
- Work confidently with technical rules processes and digital systems including MS Dynamics 365 and Power BI
- Coordinate and contribute to programme reporting
About You
You are a self-starter who enjoys problem-solving and is comfortable working in fast-moving or sometimes ambiguous environments. You are confident decisive and able to self-source solutions with a strong sense of accountability.
A passion for farming freshwater or environmental outcomes would be an advantage along with an interest in contributing to meaningful sustainability initiatives.
Key Requirements
- Experience in technical administrative and/or customer service roles within a fast-paced environment
- Experience in compliance quality and data management
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data integrity
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills particularly via phone and email
- Confidence using digital systems and technical processes
- Farming rural or freshwater knowledge is desirable but not essential
