Senior. Engineer, New Product Introduction

• We are currentlyseekingan experienced and versatile New Product Introduction Engineer to join our this role your primary responsibility will be to drive successful qualificationsand startup ofproductsandensure readiness for mass production at ourKaohsiung Science Park-SouthManufacturing Site. The products wouldeitherbetransferred from other existing facilities ornew productsutilizinga Stage Gate Process from Development to Manufacturing stage.

• You will use your skills/experience to influence product design teams to improve design for manufacturability while ensuring the highest levels of quality. Achieving this goal will require the use of collaboration influence and individual skills to interface with all functions across the organization.

• The NPI Engineer will work closely with theProcess EngineeringteamProduction cellteamand other functional teams to ensure Manufacturing Readiness of the new product portfolio. You will engage with theProcessengineers Manufacturing Engineers Production Supervisors Operators and any othernecessary personnel to drive the successfulproduct qualification and transition to mass production.

• With the fast pace of innovations in semiconductors you willbe expected to managemultiple projects across the product portfolio.

• Lead or serve as a core team memberforassigned NPI Projects as the liaison between Development Engineering and Operations pulling products to market.

• Monitorthe production at pilot phase lead toresolvetheissueswere discovered to ensure a smooth transition to highvolumemanufacturing phase.

• Develop Manufacturing Plans for assigned projects. Topics includeselectionof manufacturingsite raw and finished goods material planning chemical/waste plan ramp/capacity planning cost roadmap etc.

• Conduct aprocess of product qualification ensure samples can be delivered within schedule.

• Become familiar with equipment for mass production ensure production lineis capableof producingthe products at manufacturing level.

• Prepare Process Documentation to support Product Launch.

• Work closely with Development Engineering to proactively influence product and process design for better manufacturability.

• Drive Improvement Projects (yield process capability etc.) to maximize Gross Margin and Predictability.

• Manage customer samples and Product Qualification builds. Work withOperationsteam to provide special instructions as.

Assistin directing and controlling processesin accordance withdefined policies and procedures.Assistswith analyses and audits on processesin order tomake recommendations on such items as safety quality cost waste reductions and efficiency.

• Bachelors Degree in related technical discipline. Mechanical or Chemical Engineering preferred.

• Must have5yearsrelated experience.
