Teaching Duties
- Teach Catholic high school Theology experience with the high school learner preferred
- Provide normal supervisory duties and participate in faculty and related meetings as may be required.
- Develop positive communication with staff students administration and community.
- Provide the appropriate learning atmosphere and activities designed to maximize student competencies and skills for intellectual emotional physical social and spiritual growth.
- Be a Christian role model for students and comply with the educational philosophy of St. Augustine High School
Requirements
- Possesses a degree from an accredited four-year institution with a major in Theology and the ability to teach at the high school level.
- Experience with instructional technology in classroom
- Has knowledge of the high school learner.
- Demonstrates a personal commitment to the philosophy of a Catholic education.
- Secondary teaching credential and/or masters in theology strongly desired.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to remain in an office at a computer workstation and access information from a computer and use a telephone. The employee is required to be mobile to from and within the school as well as maneuver throughout the school facility to attend meetings briefings and other work-related events. The employee may be required to conduct trips to from and within various city and county-wide locations to attend meetings or events. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
