Location: Brooklyn NY 11206
Contract Duration: 14 Weeks
Pay Rate: $65 $68 per hour
Shift & Schedule
Shift Time: 8:30 AM 8:00 PM
Hours per Day: 11.5
Days per Week: 3
Hours per Week: 34.5
Schedule Notes:
3 shifts per week
Alternating weekends required
Job Description
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seekingRN Post Partum / Mother Babyfor an exciting job in Brooklyn NY.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver patient-centered care to postpartum mothers and newborns
Monitor maternal and neonatal health status and report changes promptly
Administer medications and IV therapy as ordered
Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy as needed
Support breastfeeding education and maternal recovery
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with standards
Adhere to hospital policies safety protocols and regulatory requirements
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 2 years of Maternal and Child Health experience
Minimum 2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience
Minimum 2 years of conscious sedation experience
Education
Required: Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN or ADN) from an accredited nursing program
Certifications & Licensure
Active New York State RN License
Primary Source Verification of RN License through NYS Department of Education (NYSED)
AHA BLS
AHA ACLS (except Bellevue)
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification
