WCSH-TV in Portland Maine is looking for a news video editor who can edit and produce interesting and impactful content for broadcast stream and social media. You must be a self-starter who is technologically savvy with quick thoughtful editing skills.

This is a full-time video editing position working for television & stream newscasts plus our digital platforms. You must be quick and calm under deadline pressure. You will edit video for assigned newscasts on a couple different shifts through the week.

Responsibilities:
Use editing and photography tools to create content for Newscast and Digital platforms
Work closely with news producers reporters and photojournalists
Must be able to work early morning nights and weekends

Requirements:
Knowledge of non-linear editing systems using Edius Premiere and Photoshop
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Highly interested in broadcast and digital news content
Organizational skills and the ability to work under deadline pressure
Excellent communication skills
BA/BS degree preferred
Must be deadline-oriented maintaining quality while staying on tight schedules
